I came to the US with a student visa, it has expired for 3 years. Actually in my country the situation is unstable. The last presidential election turned out wrong. Can I apply for asylum or refugees? Or what should I do to be legal in this country? I came here to study and I did not have money to continue. I do not want to go because the situation is terrible.
